"I purchased a indoor bike trainer"
*** Order #900360250 ***

Just an update. They asked me to provide the order number which i did but same old excuss, to blame the courier.
Keep well away from Deporvillage, there are many competitors that sell the same products.

I purchased a indoor bike trainer. The wheel is touching the chain guard, (not sure this is the right terminology)
The packaging was also a rough looking. I have been trying to get this sorted but they keep coming back and blaming the Delivery company.
It takes 2 days for a response on there email and this has been going on for ages.
Star rating should 0, customer service in appalling.
Do not buy from them

"Exceptionally poor service"
If I could give zero or negative stars I would!

My order was confirmed on 29 March 2023 and I was informed the expected delivery date was 05 April 2023. Today is 20 April 2023 and no delivery received. That is more than 2 weeks late!

The response and customer service from Deporvillage has been exceptionally poor. I have sent several emails to Deporvillage asking for information and support. All I have received is 2 email responses from Deporvillage (12 April 2023 and 18 April 2023) informing me that they have contacted the courier.
The online delivery tracking information has not changed since 29 March 2023. I searched their courier’s websites to try and find some information, and none of the tracking reference numbers given to me by Deporvillage are recognised as valid.

"No communication Terrible service"
I ordered 2 tents at a total cost of over £1400. 3 weeks later and no delivery no communication, order was still showing as "preparing". I called them to find out what was going on and they said they never had the tents in stock and nothing was being sent. No email or any form of communication. This company might work okay on mainland Europe but they should not be operating in the UK.

"Once again customs charges and 'admin…"
Once again customs charges and 'admin fee' applied retrospectively. Attempts to contact on given email and phone were not responded to. Reading other complaints, I don't think Deporvillage understand. We KNOW what VAT and import tax are. Nobody is disputing these must be paid. But you DON'T EXPLAIN YOUR CHARGES at the point of sale. Nobody likes a nasty surprise which they did not expect. I consider this an underhand sales tactic, making your products look cheaper than they really are. The fact that you use a tax collection service that charges over £10 admin fee is an insult. You have done nothing to earn this fee, I have no contract with you and I will not pay it. The amount of time I have spent trying to chase you down, it is you who should be paying me. Reference CCL724813

Postscript. Standard reply from Deporvillage below. You can see, they have not properly read this review and there are no pictures provided as promised. Be Advised. They do not tell you about their 'admin charges'.

"£191.19 IMPORT TAX ON 2 pairs of ski…"
£191.19 IMPORT TAX ON 2 pairs of ski trousers and jacket!!

I placed an order with Deporvillage as they had an item in stock that had sold out in other places, to find out that once order is placed processed and out for delivery they lump you with import tax.

I understand Import tax and how this works but really be made clear when order is being made. Not when item is out for delivery and not for DHL to send you message informing you.

I also paid extra for express delivery.

My order number is 900359401 and I would like a full refund.

Real poor service from this company.

Will not be using again.

"Based in Spain - returns impossible! Don't buy if in UK!!"
Beware! This company is based in Spain. Bought a jacket for Christmas. Had to pay postage & packing. Size wasn't right so packaged it up and sent it back at great cost to ourselves. Sat in Spanish customs for 6 WEEKS, only to be sent back to us in UK. Then had to PAY AGAIN to send it back via their courier.
Collected on 26th Jan - only just received my refund today on 24th Feb, and that's after numerous phone calls to Spain.
Electronic customer service completely useless.
BOTTOM LINE: DON'T NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK!!

"Beware customs duties if in UK!!"
I was charged £40 in customs duties after buying the product! This was absolutely not made clear to me at checkout and i feel misled. The standard response from Deporvillage seems to be that customs duties are outside their control. But I have purchased from various EU suppliers and never had this experience before. Other companies seem to include duties in their pricing in a transparent way. If I had known I would have bought elsewhere.

"Deporvillage should not do business in the US"
Return status - Return R00407792

Deporvillage should not do business in the USA. These are the facts;
- Items were returned mid-october 2022, at my own expenses, with international shipment to Spain with exemption of duties. It costed 30$, 1/3 of the returned items retail value. This should be already enough to reconsider doing business with them, outside Spain.
- per tracking number, shipment left customs few days later
- in January I follow up with their CS, who claimed the warehouse did not receive yet the package, inviting me to contact USPS.
- I followed up again, with USPS tracking proving the above statement wrong. The CS operator writes me back saying the tracking is invalid, mistaking my USPS tracking for a UPS one. She then sends me a screenshot, where she clearly looked up in the USPS website the Deporvillage return code, not my tracking. This is all documented.
- in mid february USPS delivers me back the package, with a clear label from the Spanish Post Service 'Correos', 'REFUSED', NOVEMBER 7 2021
- given the fact above, in January, the CS was wrong in dismissing my claim.The package did indeed arrive.
- Their first reply to my new message in February stated that there were problems in customs, when there is material proof it cleared customs.
- their second reply then states that the warehouse refused it as duties were due - incorrect, since package was exempt, per USPS clarifications and proof of exemption.

At the time I am writing this review on 02/15, this matter has not been resolved yet.

I hope this detailed and unbiased review helps US customer to steer away from ordering from Deporvillage, also considering what happened to another recent order of mine.

On black friday 2022 I placed a 400$ order. Before checking out, delivery was indicated as early December. Once the order was confirmed, it was already postponed to Dec22nd, due to warehouse workloads.These were Christmas gifts, so I waited. Around that date, it was postponed again to early January 2023. Few days before the shipment, I was warned that few items were no longer available. I canceled the order.

Cumulating these two different issues, for neither of which am at fault, how can I buy from this Company again?

False delivery times. While browsing items, it will appear delivery is possible in 2-3 working days. After checkout, the delivery slot updated to 1 MONTH later.

"Good - until there is a problem"
Until now, I have had good experiences with Deporvillage, but the test is when things go wrong. They claimed to have shipped my order, but it did not arrive the next day as promised, nor the next day. I now see GLS only received the items from Deprivillage today, four days after the order, so the shipping confirmation was false; hopefully delivery will be prompt. I needed the items for a holiday in the mountains, but Deporvillage failed me . I'm especially disappointed to learn that I cannot trust messages from Deporvillage. Very disappointing.

My refund R00469799 has not been issued nearly 20 days after making my return. Having looked at the comments I can’t help but feel like this is a bit of a scam.

Could I please be given an update?

"They promised me a pair of long cycling…"
They promised me a pair of long cycling bibs in 1 week: more than 3 weeks later no news, no updates, 0. Indifference, which equals to commercial deceit. The "deporvillage-style" is based on a simple approach: if they have it available in stock you take their initial confirmation date and add from 2 to 5 more days to get the items. In any case, most of the time they write unrealistic dates of deliveries. Otherwise, when they don't have it in their stock it means you are going to be a cheated consumer. They openly lie about delivery dates in order to attract people promising unrealistic confirmation dates. In this my last case, they've proved to be trying to sell what their suppliers don't even have in stock, therefore they seem not to have any integration with their suppliers' inventories. They just guess, and use the consumers' money and abuse of their trust. So it's a business based on lies on a massive scale.

"Sportiva Streams to US, Never Shipped, No Refund"
Ordered a pair of sportiva streams to ship to the United States. It said was in stock and ships within 2 business days or something like that. After 4 weeks, I check my order and see that it has not shipped, so I contact customer service and they say that there’s a supply chain issue so they actually didn’t have them in stock. I wasn’t emailed or alerted at all, just me reaching out to them. I ask for an estimated delivery date and nothing. They then lower the price of the shoes, and won’t even let me get a partial refund since mine hasn’t even been shipped. I contacted customer service, and they said they would cancel my order and refund me…but I am still waiting for that. Based on all the other comments and reviews here, it looks like I will never get a refund. Lol fk this online store. Order was cancelled for not being in stock, but then they put the shoes back up for a lower price and as in stock. Wth

if there could be 0 reivew, i 100% will put it on 0.
Ordering the item during black friday, after 1 week, this company reported that due to the stock breakage from supplier. they could not dilvery. After fews days, the other staff reposted that the item is out of stock, so they could not dilvery will refund immediately.

They send the document whcih only a paper wrote a words said the money was refund and need 3 - 5 businese day on 13-12-2022.
Now, today is 04-01-2023, i checked with my bank again and again, nothing indicated of the amount and my bank reported that nothing inward tranaction & willing transaction was received.
(I could send the conversation between me and bank customer service)

I messgae to this company again and agin. first they said again that the refund was processed and send me back the 'paper' of the refund.
One customer service reported that they will double check with the finance department, still no response.
I message again with the conversation between me and the my bank.
They never response. day by day, no response.
No matter leave how may messages, e-mail, no response and no further action to help the customer.
just look like some people comment there

Just do yourself a favour and order from anywhere that isn't here. Their customer service is non-existent.

they won't help yours.
Not recommend this company and don't make a order there.
